FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER:

The Service Engineer reports to the National Service Manager and is responsible for traveling to customer and dealer facilities to service and install company machinery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Travel to customers' facilities to install, service and perform basic training on all company machinery.
  2. Troubleshoot both electronic and mechanical problems that can occur on-site by using proper basic testing equipment (i.e. multimeter or oscilloscope).
  3. Examine customers’ complaints regarding equipment malfunction and service issues, and communicate with customer and internal management regarding technical analysis and determination.
  4. Document all work done in a legible and technically sound manner.
  5. Submit both service and expense reports for reimbursement.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  1. Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain integrity and ethics in all conversations and actions with customers.
  2. Self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision and to calmly handle stressful situations when customers complain of equipment malfunctions.
  3. Possess technical curiosity and ability to diagnose and solve production issues.
  4. Detail-oriented and able to get work completed in a manufacturing environment.
  5. HS Diploma, Machine Shop experience and/or 2 year Electronics degree.
  6. Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.

CONSUMABLE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER:

The Consumable Sales Account Manager reports to the Consumable Sales Manager and is responsible for maintaining and developing the company's EDM consumable products business through telephone sales and various other marketing techniques.  Provides sales support to approximately 500 existing, active and non-active customers and wins new accounts.  Logs details of each conversation and transaction for historical data and financial tracking of market trends.

Responsibilities:

  1.   Schedule and make sales calls via phone, e-mail and fax.
  2.   Enter data into sales logs within the sales database.
  3.   Communicate with Consumable Sales Manager to develop new sales strategy.
  4.   Enter consumable sales quotes and orders into the corporate ERP system.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  1.   Minimum 2 years of experience selling goods and services via telephone.
  2.   Strong record of achievement in sales account management.
  3.   Experience selling to manufacturing sector preferred.
  4.   Computer proficiency ideally with CRM and ERP systems.
  5.   Understanding of financial concepts such as margin calculations necessary to provide profitable income flow.
  6.   Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7.   Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain integrity and ethics in all conversations and actions with customers.
  8.   Energetic, self-starter able to work with little or no supervision.

APPLICATIONS ENGINEER:

The Applications Engineer reports to the Applications Manager and is responsible for sales and customer support. This includes before sale support through test cuts and demonstrations and after sale support through training, problem solving and service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform test cuts and generate test cut reports to aid in sales efforts.
  2. Perform machine demonstrations to customers, including programming machines via CAD / CAM software.
  3. Provide on-site and off-site machine operation training to new customers.
  4. Assist customers in identifying machine problems and finding solutions.
  5. Provide customers with service and technical support on machine programming and operations.
  6. Coordinate weekly application work schedule with Applications Manager.
  7. Participate in industry trade shows.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  1. Minimum five years, hands on Sinker EDM and Wire EDM experience, including programming, setup and machine operation.
  2. Working knowledge of CAD / CAM system.
  3. Working knowledge of materials, tooling, and end mills required.
  4. Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain integrity and ethics in all conversations and actions with customers.
  5. Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
  6. Possess technical curiosity and ability to diagnose and solve production issues.
  7. Detailed oriented and able to get work completed in a manufacturing environment.
